BASE is supporting the greenTEK <http://www.greentekventures.com/> model in order to establish a reliable investment platform that will facilitate and support venture funds in targeted emerging markets. These will be structured to reduce the risks of investing in emerging markets and will mobilize both international and local investors.
By scaling investments in green technologies in emerging markets, the venture funds will also demonstrate that competitive financial returns can be delivered in conjunction with having a meaningful environmental and social impact.
Currently BASE and the team that is supporting the project are structuring the platform and the strategy to develop the project.
